Climber abandons 'completely suicidal' solo ascent of deadly K2

A Polish-Russian mountaineer, who was attempting to become the first person to climb K2 -- one of the world’s deadliest mountains – by himself in the winter, aborted his mission on Sunday over safety concerns.
